BATTERY CHARGING INNOVATION WITH PANASONIC BATTERY
We wanted to offer our riders maximum flexibility when it came to charging. So when we designed the battery for the URBO, we decided to work with Panasonic (the same company that Tesla chose to make its batteries) to develop the lightest, most compact Li-ion battery possible.
With Panasonic’s leading design, you can be sure your URBO is powered by reliable and industry-leading batteries. We also designed for the battery to be easily removable, so you can charge with the battery attached or removed from the scooter. The battery only weighs 1.5kg, so you have maximum flexibility in how you charge your URBO.
SAFETY AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY THROUGH OUR TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED BRAKING SYSTEM
Safety is a core value of our company which is why we are very proud of our advanced braking system on the URBO. The URBO features a low maintenance, cable pull rear disc brake with a 120mm rotor that brings you to a rapid, but smooth stop within a few meters, even from top speed. We love the regenerative braking innovation that we have included which enhances energy efficiency - every time you pull the brake lever power is being sent back to the battery from the front hub motor.
MULTI-SAFE FOLDING SYSTEM
The folding system on the URBO is designed to ensure that the scooter is both robust and portable. All you have to do is release the locking lever to fold and carry the scooter into your office / home, etc. A strong and adjustable clamping mechanism keeps your handlebars steady and secure during your ride.
CRUISE-CONTROL
To provide you more comfort we added our cruise control. Hold your speed steady for 6 seconds and you will hear a beep signifying cruise control is on. You can then release the throttle and enjoy the ride knowing what your speed is. Apply the brakes or press the throttle again to cancel.
MULTI-THROTTLE
The URBO also features comfortable 420mm wide bars. The ergonomically designed throttle allows you to control your speed mode, lights and acceleration with one hand. Information is displayed for easy reading on the LCD display which shows your current speed, mode selected, battery life and connectivity.
QUIET POWERFUL 350W MOTOR
The quiet 350W responsive motor delivers smooth acceleration and torque – making it suitable even for hilly terrain.
ERGONOMICALLY DESIGNED DECK
The flowing lines of the deck are a by-product of its functional design and strength and the anti-slip rubber footplate ensures a safe ride.
LIGHTS
The URBO is equipped with a LED headlight and tail/brake light as well as front and rear side reflectors to make sure you standout to other road and pavement users.
Smart URBOApp (Only available for IPhone)
All Urbo scooters come with the option of connecting it with the URBOapp on your smartphone to give you access to a number of cool options and features (speed, current battery level, average speed, current riding mileage and electronic lock).
